​Installation Tips

​Safety First: We highly recommend wearing gloves and long sleeves during installation to avoid skin irritation from the fibers

​Preparation: Clean the exhaust pipe thoroughly. You may lightly spray the wrap with water (do not soak) to make it more pliable and reduce flyaway fibers

​The Wrap: Start at the end closest to the engine. Make one full initial loop and secure it. Continue wrapping with a 1/4" overlap for optimal insulation

​Finish: Secure the end with the included stainless steel ties

​Note: It is normal for the wrap to smoke slightly during the first few heat cycles as the binders cure. This will stop once the "break-in" period is complete
